The map for OSRS are created using modified versions of the RuneLite MapImageDumper application. It utilizes the game cache to create the maps. This provides easily updatable maps.
There are many locations in old school RuneScape (OSRS) as well you’ll usually spend time traveling between different regions. Unfortunately, the open world map that is built into the game isn’t all that impressive. It takes some time to find and open the maps of areas such as the God Wars Dungeon or the Slayer Cave.
It turns out that it’s really easier and faster to use maps that are available via the internet rather than using the maps included in the game. Here’s a list of The Best OSRS Maps List for the most well-known areas.
OSRS Slayer Cave Map
Located under beneath Tree Gnome Stronghold, the Slayer Cave is where you’ll spend the majority of your time working on your slayer assignment.
If you’re just beginning to learn about slayer, it can be quite difficult to find your way across your way through the Slayer Cave. The most effective map can be found in the Old School RogueScape Wikia map, which can be seen here. This showcases the arrangement in the Slayer Cave and explains what monsters are in each area.
OSRS Stronghold of Security Map
Since that the Stronghold Security Security is multi-leveled, it’s extremely difficult to find an outline map that shows all floors clearly.

OSRS Underground Pass Map
It is said that the Underground Pass dungeon is one of the most challenging areas to navigate without having a map. Because of the huge size of the dungeon as well as the distinct parts that it has you’ll need several maps to make your way through it.

OSRS Fairy Ring Map
Because Fairy Rings are spread out throughout RuneScape, a good Fairy Ring map needs to showcase the entire world as clearly as it is possible.
According to our experience, the most user-friendly map was created by an anonymous Reddit user on the subreddit /r/2007scape. It shows all the Fairy Ring locations and their respective codes, allowing you to quickly teleport through the world just by looking at the map. The map is accessible here.
Wilderness Map
Trying to use the built-in map whilst in the Wilderness can be quite dangerous. If you do this, you’ll be not able to keep the eye on any of the players that could pose a threat to you.
We suggest to use the Wilderness map provided by the Old School Wikia whenever you go out into the Wilderness. With this map, you’ll know where you are and also be aware of what’s happening around you in OSRS.

God Wars Dungeon Map
There are two parts of the God Wars Dungeon map that players frequently look for. One is the map that tells you how to reach God Wars Dungeon and the second part explains how to navigate around the Dungeon.

Catacombs Map
If you’re assigned a slayer assignment in the Catacombs of Kourend, chances are, you’ll need an Catacombs map to show you the way around. This Catacombs of Kourend is one of the largest dungeons available in OSRS It’s a good idea to keep an external map in your inventory.
