Heading to college/university or leaving school to enter the world of work is a challenging period. It’s quite simply something you should plan for.  The employment sector in which you find yourself after your educational years will not be immune to change, and you should be prepared for this. As the economy goes through periods of growth and recession vacancy rates will fluctuate, as will wages in different sectors depending on the demand and need in this area.  This can be experienced as slow change in education for example, or rapid change in IT and Software.   Knowing this may well influence your decision on which sector to focus your attention during, and upon leaving school/university or college.  We will provide quarterly updates on this career hack as the economy evolves to give you a first hand account of how each sector is shaping up, and where the greatest opportunities are to be found.
