Simon McIntyre graduated from the university of Bristol with an MSci in Physics and Astrophysics, after which he worked as a management consultant for a niche consulting firm. He worked on projects with private businesses and government departments in the UK, Europe and West Africa and eventually rose to the position of Managing Director.

After several years of focusing on other people’s countries he decided it was time to give something back to the UK and got involved in politics. Today he is Senior Researcher to Conservative MP Nadhim Zahawi contributing policy advice and analysis on a range of issues but with a focus on business and the economy.
